Manyara RCO aims high for Usalama SC


THE Manyara Regional Crimes Officer (RCO) Joshua Mwafulango has set strategies to strengthen Usalama Sports Club, targeting regional championship.

The RCO said here that their plan is to compete in the Regional Championship League (RCL). He was speaking at Nangwa Stadium after a tough game between Usalama SC and Halmashauri FC, the former emerged victorious with a 5-2 win.

He expressed his satisfaction over Usalama SC performance, saying that it was due to good cooperation between players and the club leadership. “We have planned well and still are setting up strategies so that we become champions and compete in regional championship league. We want to maintain the tempo we started with until the end,” he said.

Usalama SC Coach, Ryoba Kanyenye commended his players for a commendable job and promised to work out on some few shortcomings so that they can be even more better as days unfold.

In that match Usalama SC goals were scored by David Shebe, Makame Othman, Majaliwa Juma, Hamadi Hamisi and Salum Juma. Halmashauri FC netted their goals through Martin Maira and Mlangida Martin.

Manyara Regional League has nine teams in two groups. Six teams will make it to the next stage, three from each group. The teams in Group A are Gwadaat FC, BM FC, Magugu Rangers, Fire Stone and Morning Star.

Group B has Red Star, Nangwa, Halmashauri and Usalama SC. All matches are played at Nangwa Technical College Stadium in Katesh, Hanang
